Responsibilities

  • Monitor and investigate issues across components of critical business systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex system interactions and dependencies to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines supporting business-critical applications.
  • Document findings and solutions for knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system issues and improve service reliability.
  • Improve support processes, monitoring, and automation tools.
  • Work independently as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Proficiency in data engineering, including SQL, Python, and Databricks.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data structures.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of RDF, OWL, and knowledge graphs.
  • Experience with data pipelines and analytics/reporting, such as Power BI.
  • Understanding of data integration and interoperability concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and their integration with data engineering workflows.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data processing for performance and reliability.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation for support and monitoring tasks.
  • 15 years of full-time education.
