Responsibilities
- Develop, test, analyze, maintain, and support software programs and applications.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
- Create program and system documentation.
- Analyze and resolve software errors accurately and promptly.
- Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and recommend alternatives.
- Learn and apply tools and software development techniques used by the IT Division.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Java and RESTful services is strongly preferred.
- Experience with a modern integrated development environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, or Angular is a plus.
- Experience with source control management software is a plus.
- Ability to learn and effectively use the IT Division’s tools and software development techniques.
- Enthusiasm for identifying and implementing solutions to new challenges.
