Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test suites for operating-system foundation layers and hypervisor components.
- Build and enhance scalable test frameworks for coverage, efficiency, and debugging.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins-based pipelines for automated validation, regression, and nightly testing.
- Set up and manage hardware validation environments, including board bring-up, flashing, logging, and remote execution.
- Collaborate with development, system, and safety teams to deliver high-quality, functionally safe software.
- Create and maintain test specifications, validation plans, and documentation for test tools and environments.
- Analyze CI failures, identify root causes, and drive debugging and issue resolution.
- Support long-duration, stress, and reliability testing across multiple platforms.
- Improve QA processes, automation coverage, and test infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in test design and automation for embedded systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines and Git-based version-control workflows.
- Experience with hardware setups, board-level testing, logs, and debugging tools.
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and debugging methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong ownership mindset focused on quality and customer impact.
- Preferred experience with Linux OS internals, FreeRTOS, or SafeRTOS.
- Preferred experience with KVM, QEMU, Docker, or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional-safety standards.
- Experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP, CAN, or LIN networks.
- Exposure to stress and reliability tools such as stress-ng.

- US base salary range is $143,200.00-$186,000.00 per year.
