Responsibilities
- Build and deploy end-to-end features using front-end frameworks, back-end services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to scalable system architecture, data models, API contracts, and cloud-native persistence strategies.
- Write, maintain, and execute automated tests; review code, including AI-generated code, for security, performance, and maintainability.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code, monitor production systems, and participate in incident response.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, platform teams, and engineers while communicating technical plans and trade-offs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with graduation no earlier than May 2028.
- Available to work full-time for a 12-week period in either May–August or June–September 2027.
- Experience considering or integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience through coursework, research, projects, or internships with front-end frameworks, back-end languages, databases, REST/GraphQL APIs, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred qualifications include distributed-systems knowledge, software engineering fundamentals, clean and secure coding experience, code review experience, AI coding assistant and LLM API fluency, and strong technical communication.
