Responsibilities
- Design and code fraud, scam, and digital intrusion alert applications.
- Develop high-TPS, low-latency APIs and applications using Ab Initio.
- Apply data engineering and ETL principles across batch and continuous flows.
- Design, debug, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
- Estimate development effort for new features.
- Mentor team members and provide technical assistance.
- Lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activities.
- Promote industry best practices and patterns.
- Create CI/CD pipelines using supported pipeline tools.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience with data engineering and ETL principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, SQL, Ab Initio, and other data integration tools and frameworks.
- Demonstrated programming experience with Ab Initio GDE and related products and shell scripting.
- Experience with RDBMS concepts, Oracle, SQL, stored procedures, and packages.
- Experience with real-time applications using MQs, REST APIs, TCP, or Kafka.
- Experience developing and deploying software independently with comprehensive test coverage.
- Strong coding, system design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical assistance.
- Ability to lead Level 3 or higher support and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and creating pipelines in Jenkins, TeamCity, Ab Initio EME, or GitHub Actions.
- AWS cloud hosting knowledge.
- Exposure to Agile working environments and DevOps roles.
- Python or Java experience is preferred but not required.
