Responsibilities
- Plan and deploy software applications and infrastructure into classified government Azure environments.
- Design cloud networking and engineering solutions that meet security, cost, and performance requirements.
- Promote deployed software through multiple environment stages and integrate it with mission partners.
- Identify, triage, and mitigate Kubernetes issues in deployed environments.
- Implement observability, alerting, and maintenance requirements for reliable operations.
- Create and maintain accreditation artifacts, compliance standards, representative unclassified environments, and host OS updates.
- Provide direct in-person technical expertise during mission-critical periods and collaborate with government platform management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE-type roles.
- Strong proficiency with cloud services including Azure and AWS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Ansible.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, and security best practices.
- Programming ability in one or more scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience deploying complex and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Currently possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: extensive Kubernetes and Helm expertise, relevant cloud certifications, STIG experience, DoD or sensitive-customer data-system experience, and familiarity with NIPR and SIPR network enclaves.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, or Google Cloud Certified Professional.
