Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage database systems, particularly AWS RDS for PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
- Create and manage data structures and load routines supporting application development and business use.
- Develop and interface with APIs while supporting application development teams and AWS-based database and application environments.
- Work with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Cleanse, transform, and process structured relational data for applications and analytics.
- Collaborate with client staff, IT customers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile project management setting.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated database experience, preferably with PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
- Proficiency with views, triggers, stored procedures, SQL scripting, database indexing, and optimization techniques.
- Experience developing and interfacing with APIs and creating or modifying data structures and load routines.
- Expertise working with relational data, including cleansing, transforming, and processing structured data.
- Knowledge of AWS environments and experience working within an Agile project management framework.
- Experience collaborating with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Desired qualifications include AI and Generative AI model or algorithm development, AWS Cloud Data Migration Services, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Power BI, Tableau, and relevant AWS certifications.
