Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage database systems, particularly AWS RDS for PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
- Create and modify data structures and load routines supporting business and application needs.
- Develop and interface with APIs while supporting application development teams.
- Use AWS environments to support databases and applications.
- Work with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Cleanse, transform, process, and optimize structured relational data.
- Collaborate with client staff, IT customers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated database experience, preferably with PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
- Proficiency with database views, triggers, stored procedures, indexing, and optimization techniques.
- Experience developing and interfacing with APIs and creating data structures and load routines.
- Expertise with relational data cleansing, transformation, and processing.
- Knowledge of AWS environments and experience working in an Agile project management framework.
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes AI and Generative AI model development, AWS Cloud Data Migration Services, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Power BI, Tableau, and relevant AWS certifications.
