Base Salary

$159k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage vulnerability disclosures and threat intelligence, authoring risk statements and remediation guidance.
  • Own vulnerability remediation campaigns, track progress, report outcomes, and drive root-cause analysis.
  • Partner with AWS service teams to design scalable and maintainable security controls.
  • Apply AI and automation to vulnerability assessment, remediation, and mitigation workflows.
  • Mentor security engineers through peer reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with software developers, technical program managers, and security peers to keep remediation efforts on track.

Requirements

  • CCSP, CEH, CFR, Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, GICSP, or PenTest+ certification.
  • At least four years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least three years of combined experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master's degree specializing in information security, three or more years in vulnerability management, knowledge of current security threats and mitigations, lead or mentoring experience, satellite communications and management software experience, and low-level programming or embedded-systems experience.
