Base Salary
$170k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver key technical components of a new data-driven product.
- Partner with product and domain stakeholders to understand customer needs.
- Design, build, and evolve scalable systems for high-volume streaming data.
- Collaborate with peers on architecture and design decisions.
- Turn loosely defined ideas into concrete technical designs.
- Lead development of complex features from prototyping to production.
- Contribute high-quality code and improve core abstractions.
- Mentor and support other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with data-intensive or streaming systems.
- Experience building reliable backend services and APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team.
- Clear communication skills in a remote environment.
- Strong ownership mindset with attention to quality.
