Responsibilities
- Define and drive Pinterest's technical strategy for agentic engineering.
- Architect and ship production systems including agent runtimes and orchestration frameworks.
- Reimagine Pinterest's software development lifecycle to be AI-native.
- Own developer velocity measurement through telemetry and evaluation systems.
- Serve as a technical force multiplier across various engineering teams.
- Drive engineering-wide adoption through prototypes and technical evangelism.
- Build strategic relationships with AI platform vendors.
- Translate business opportunities into precise engineering investments.
- Act as a key technical advisor to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in developer platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and shipping agentic AI systems in production.
- Experience with large-scale monorepos or complex multi-service codebases.
- Familiarity with agentic development best practices and tools.
- Track record of driving technical change across large organizations.
- Deep understanding of modern software development lifecycle tooling.
- Exceptional cross-functional influence and communication skills.
- Strong product sensibility and business judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
