Responsibilities
- Build and scale core components of Turing’s vetting platform.
- Design platform-level systems with a focus on extensibility and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Operations teams to solve business problems.
- Lead architecture and implementation for high-scale user-facing workflows.
- Enhance system quality across user experience, performance, and observability.
- Establish technical direction and engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers to improve craftsmanship and execution speed.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend/platform systems.
- Experience in building and scaling complex product or platform systems.
- Strong systems design skills with an emphasis on reusable abstractions.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong product instinct and user empathy.
- Experience with workflow systems, evaluation platforms, or AI-powered products is a plus.
- Familiarity with modern AI/LLM-powered systems.
- Proven track record of driving high-impact initiatives across stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a high-ownership mindset.
