Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of backend systems and lead the design of scalable services and APIs.
- Define and enforce engineering best practices and coding standards across the organization.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive the evolution of infrastructure for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, design, and leadership to translate business objectives into technical strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience in senior or principal-level roles.
- Deep expertise in backend systems design and distributed systems.
- Experience in developing scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and OpenSearch.
- Proven experience designing backend APIs for SaaS products with multi-tenancy and security considerations.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with observability and fault tolerance.
