Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and long-term technical roadmap for the Phone Numbers Platform.
- Use AI coding assistants to automate tasks and enhance team velocity.
- Drive technical excellence and make critical architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to create developer-first APIs.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers, fostering a culture of learning.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development process.
- Communicate complex technical strategies through design documents and presentations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud-native distributed systems.
- Expert proficiency in Java or Go, with deep knowledge of AWS ecosystems.
- Deep experience with cloud-native infrastructure and microservices patterns.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to accelerate software delivery.
- A track record of building high-volume public-facing APIs.
- Experience with high-throughput data processing and storage solutions.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD paradigms.
- Proven ability to influence technical strategy across teams.
