Responsibilities
- Write, review, and own production-quality software as a hands-on contributor.
- Contribute to team and system architecture, technical decisions, and Architecture Decision Records.
- Use AI tools and frameworks to improve development speed, quality, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Champion TDD, BDD, automated testing, refactoring, and technical debt reduction.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting to support system reliability and performance.
- Promote security-by-design and responsible handling of data and infrastructure.
- Break complex work into deliverable increments, remove technical blockers, and escalate risks.
- Collaborate with QAs, product owners, architects, designers, program managers, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts, risks, progress, and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language, specifically JavaScript or Java, with strong knowledge of frontend and backend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AI tools, frameworks, and platforms applied to software delivery.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modelling.
- Fluency with TDD, pair programming, continuous integration, and refactoring practices.
- Working knowledge of security principles including secrets management and least privilege.
- Must have the right to work and live in India and be within commuting distance of the Bengaluru office.
