Responsibilities
- Write, review, and own production-quality software as a hands-on contributor.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, Architecture Decision Records, and evolutionary architecture.
- Break complex technical work into deliverable increments, remove blockers, and escalate risks.
- Collaborate with QAs, product owners, architects, designers, program managers, and other stakeholders.
- Champion AI-first software delivery and use AI tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, Infrastructure as Code, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Promote TDD, BDD, automated testing, refactoring, test coverage, and technical debt reduction.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, security-by-design, and responsible data and infrastructure handling.
- Communicate technical concepts, risks, progress, and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language, including JavaScript or Java, with strong frontend and backend framework knowledge.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AI tools, frameworks, platforms, and their application in software delivery.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS services, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modelling.
- Fluency with TDD, pair programming, continuous integration, refactoring, and other XP practices.
- Working knowledge of security principles such as secrets management and least privilege.
- Must have the right to work and live in India and be able to commute to the Bengaluru office.
