Base Salary
$92k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based advertising solutions and client-side SDKs for FOX consumer-facing digital products.
- Build scalable, modular, high-performance software supporting video advertising, display advertising, analytics, and measurement.
- Integrate and maintain third-party advertising and analytics technologies, including Google Ad Manager, IMA, FreeWheel, and similar platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, internal teams, and external technology partners.
- Troubleshoot issues across browsers, devices, and environments and optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop expertise in digital advertising, video monetization, and evolving web technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building modern web applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and deep knowledge of browser-based application development.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, browser APIs, and client-side application architecture.
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs, APIs, or platform services into production applications.
- Familiarity with video playback technologies and web-based media applications.
- Experience building modular, maintainable, and testable software, with strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git and familiarity with automated testing, build systems, and CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes digital advertising technologies, client-side SDKs or shared libraries, web performance optimization, video streaming, advertising standards, and media or high-traffic consumer web applications.
