Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and support applications, features, and platforms.
- Maintain and enhance the end-of-day pricing platform and the integration between Advent Geneva and the data warehouse.
- Build cloud-deployed Java microservices using containers orchestrated by Kubernetes.
- Extend REST and GraphQL-based APIs and develop scalable web services.
- Support large-scale data pipelines, task orchestration, and platform capabilities.
- Provide Level 3 support globally and collaborate with business stakeholders and engineers.
- Run projects, lead initiatives, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve code quality.
Requirements
- Three to six years of experience developing cloud-based Java microservices, preferably with Spring Boot.
- Strong grounding in multithreading, memory optimization, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience building scalable, standards-based web service APIs.
- Experience with message brokers or streaming platforms, preferably Kafka.
- Experience with relational databases and performance optimization, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience with large-scale data pipelines and task orchestration such as Apache Airflow or Prefect.
- Experience in Agile project environments, code reviews, and static analysis tools such as SonarQube.
- Experience using AI tooling in day-to-day development.
- Familiarity with equity, fixed income, and/or derivative trade lifecycles and valuation.
- Preferred experience includes financial services, Advent Geneva, fund accounting, credit instrument processing and valuation, AI models, agent skills, MCP, context engineering, React, AWS services, Python, data lakes or lakehouses, and distributed or NoSQL data stores.
- Strong communication, ownership, collaboration, and delivery skills.
Benefits
- Base pay is expected to be $175,000 to $215,000, with potential performance bonus and competitive benefits.
