Responsibilities
- Develop and customize the AOSP Telephony Framework.
- Work on RILJ, RILC, and modem integration.
- Debug call drops, data issues, network registration, and certification issues.
- Handle LTE/5G data, roaming, and network selection.
- Develop IMS features including VoLTE, VoWiFi, ViLTE, and VoNR.
- Work with Qualcomm chipset platforms.
- Analyze logcat, radio logs, QXDM, and TCP data.
- Support regulatory and carrier certifications for PTCRB, GCF, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
- Troubleshoot cellular connectivity across NAS, AS, and RRC protocol layers.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Android Telephony Framework, RIL, and modem software.
- Experience with AOSP customization and debugging.
- Knowledge of LTE, 5G, IMS, RCS, and eSIM.
- Programming experience with Java, C, and C++.
- Experience with modem logs and debugging tools.
