Responsibilities
- Build and productionize large-scale machine-learning models for sponsored search and the ads funnel.
- Improve ad relevance and buyer engagement using machine-learning techniques.
- Develop systems for retrieval, ranking, ad allocation, and user engagement modeling.
- Conduct A/B experiments to validate ML models and pipelines.
- Train, deploy, monitor, debug, and iterate on production ML systems.
- Work cross-functionally with product engineering, product management, ML engineering, and analytics teams.
- Create requirements and lead work from design through delivery.
Requirements
- Track record applying statistical and machine-learning techniques to real-world problems.
- Expertise in at least one of natural language processing, information retrieval, search, recommendations, or deep learning.
- Experience with production machine-learning systems in search, recommendation, or advertising.
- Ability to write understandable, testable, maintainable code.
- Ability to communicate model capabilities and consider impacts on end users.
