Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and productionize large-scale machine learning models for sponsored search and advertising.
- Develop systems for retrieval, ranking, ad allocation, and user engagement modeling.
- Apply machine learning advances to improve ad relevance and buyer engagement.
- Conduct A/B experiments to evaluate ML models and pipelines.
- Train, deploy, monitor, debug, and iterate on production machine learning systems.
- Collaborate with product engineering, product management, ML engineering, and analytics teams from design through delivery.
- Create requirements and communicate model capabilities to product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Track record applying statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
- Expertise in at least one of natural language processing, information retrieval, search, recommendations, or deep learning.
- Experience with production machine learning systems in search, recommendation, or advertising.
- Ability to lead work from design through delivery and create requirements.
- Ability to write understandable, testable, maintainable code.
- Concern for the implications of technical work on end users.
