Base Salary

$138k - $178k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications for Trading & Risk Management Systems.
  • Build and enhance risk analytics and reporting capabilities supporting Greeks, VaR, PFE, and XVA calculations.
  • Develop and maintain backend applications, APIs, and microservices integrating with internal and external systems.
  • Integrate and support market data feeds and services from vendors including Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Markit.
  • Partner with product managers, quantitative analysts, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Apply AI-assisted development practices and contribute to Agentic AI, workflow-agent, reasoning-assistant, and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, automation, CI/CD processes, documentation, and platform modernization.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Python development experience and strong software development experience in Python or another object-oriented language.
  • At least four years of professional software development experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with Trading & Risk Management Systems, risk analytics or reporting platforms, and trading, pricing, or risk management workflows.
  • Experience integrating market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience developing backend applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Understanding of Agentic AI concepts, autonomous workflows, orchestration frameworks, prompt-driven task execution, and AI-assisted software development tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with integrating LLM-based capabilities, AI agents, or intelligent automation into enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Git and experience with testing frameworks, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, finance, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
