Base Salary
$100k - $137k/yr
Responsibilities
- Debug software products through systematic testing and maintain quality standards.
- Perform software tests on code and enhancements and develop, modify, and execute test plans.
- Write test standards and procedures and maintain documentation of test results.
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and consult with development engineers to resolve problems.
- Support technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
- Ensure quality computer integration with scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
- Provide informal guidance to new team members.
Requirements
- New college graduate with expanded conceptual knowledge in the software quality discipline.
- Ability to solve straightforward problems using technical experience, judgment, and established precedents.
- Ability to analyze test results, document findings, and communicate complex information clearly.
- Ability to work within established guidelines and collaborate with development engineers.
