Base Salary
$240k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve challenging problems involved in providing interactive experiences on data warehouses for data exploration and analysis
- Build backend distributed services, algorithms, and modern APIs for a cloud application
- Design and implement software features for Sigma’s growing user base
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience building and maintaining high-quality software
- Experience building and deploying robust and secure web applications in a continuous deployment environment
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Experience with data-driven approaches to distributed system problems
- Experience with data model design and API development
- Experience with SQL query optimization and database internals
- Experience administering cloud service infrastructure in GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Prior experience at a high-growth company solving technical problems is preferred
