Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, cloud-native backend systems using Go.
- Build real-time data ingestion and processing workflows supporting low-latency trading environments.
- Lead large-scale system design, technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices and code quality.
- Own production services, including reliability, observability, performance tuning, security, and stability.
- Collaborate with trading, product, and infrastructure teams to define requirements and deliver performant solutions.
- Implement automated testing, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD improvements.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native services using containers, orchestration, and related tools.
- Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot production systems and participate in on-call incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years using Go in production-grade systems.
- Experience leading large-scale system design and mentoring engineers.
- Strong knowledge of concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization in Go.
- Experience designing and deploying microservice architectures in high-availability, high-throughput environments.
- Understanding of message queues, event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, distributed systems, and microservice architecture.
- Strong understanding of REST and gRPC APIs.
- Understanding of networking and data transmission protocols including TCP, UDP, and WSS.
- Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with Docker and orchestration engines such as ECS and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with message brokers such as Kafka.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and time-series databases.
