Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, modernize, and optimize SAP S/4HANA applications, reporting solutions, and technical extensions.
- Develop and customize SAP Fiori, Fiori Elements, and SAPUI5 applications using JavaScript, XML, HTML5, CSS, and MVC architecture.
- Configure SAP Fiori Launchpad catalogs, roles, spaces, and pages.
- Design, develop, and optimize OData v2 and v4 services using SAP Gateway, CDS-based services, and RAP.
- Build high-performance ABAP, CDS View, AMDP, HANA, analytical, operational, ALV, classical, and interactive reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize application, integration, SQL, CDS, and data-performance issues using ST05, SAT, and ATC.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and engineering teams on requirements, estimation, sprint planning, technical design, reviews, testing, documentation, and engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, automated testing, TDD, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on SAP development experience with strong ABAP and object-oriented ABAP expertise.
- Hands-on experience developing SAP S/4HANA solutions, SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, CDS Views, HANA-optimized ABAP, AMDP, SQLScript, or Table Functions.
- Experience developing and consuming OData services, working with SAP Gateway and RAP, and troubleshooting ABAP, SQL, and CDS performance.
- Experience with Eclipse and ABAP Development Tools, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP transport and software lifecycle management, ABAP Unit, Git or gCTS, and SAP performance and quality tools.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori Elements, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, RFC, BAPIs, and ALE/IDoc integration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder-explanation skills.
- Preferred experience with SAP BTP, SAP CAP, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, Google BigQuery, Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, SAP BTP Integration Suite, or Extension Suite.
- Relevant SAP certifications, experience in automotive, manufacturing, or complex enterprise environments, and familiarity with cloud-native development are preferred.
