Salesforce Developer (Software Engineering, MTS/SMTS)
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise Salesforce applications and platform features using Apex, Force.com, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Aura Components, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Design complex data models, relational database solutions, secure sharing models, and scalable Salesforce architectures.
- Build integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture.
- Implement declarative Flows, asynchronous processing, performance tuning, and SOQL optimization while accounting for Salesforce governor limits.
- Lead and influence application and platform design, improve engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with engineering, product, business, and stakeholder teams.
- Use AI-assisted developer tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, code review, testing, refactoring, and productivity improvements while following security, governance, and data privacy standards.
Requirements
- MTS candidates must have 5+ years of programming experience with Apex, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- SMTS candidates must have 8+ years of industry software engineering experience with strong hands-on Salesforce or Force.com development experience.
- Experience with Salesforce platform architecture, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, object-oriented programming, design patterns, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, data modeling, relational databases, REST and SOAP services, and Salesforce security architecture.
- For SMTS scope, experience with bulk-safe and limit-aware design, Salesforce sharing and security, Flows, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, asynchronous processing, SOQL optimization, performance tuning, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and enterprise design patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, release management, and designing scalable secure enterprise applications.
- Ability to lead technical design, mentor engineers, influence technical direction, communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams.
- Hands-on experience with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted development tools, plus familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, responsible AI, security, governance, and data privacy.
