Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Labgen software programs and services.
- Ensure software aligns with functional requirements, development guidelines, and project scope.
- Contribute to discussions about technology, development practices, and process improvements.
- Promote software quality and continuous improvement of applications and processes.
- Manage projects and client deliverables, including direct discussions about defects, requirements, and deployments.
- Collaborate with Product Management, the Development Manager, and fellow engineers while sharing knowledge and reviewing work.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of C or C++ development experience.
- Knowledge of computer science concepts including algorithm complexity, data structures, searching, and sorting algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with JavaScript and a JavaScript library or framework such as ReactJS or Sencha/EXTJS is an asset.
- RESTful API experience is an asset.
- Project management, customer management, and laboratory information system experience are assets.
