Responsibilities
- Build and ship features for North, Cohere’s AI workspace platform.
- Develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data.
- Experiment rapidly while maintaining a high level of quality to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Work across the full product lifecycle from conceptualization through production.
- Lead end-to-end North deployments in private-cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout.
- Partner directly with public sector customers to understand their needs and implement secure AI solutions.
Requirements
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Experience shipping substantial Python code in production.
- Experience building and deploying highly performant client-side or server-side RAG or agentic applications.
- Strong coding abilities and comfort working across the stack, including diagnosing and fixing issues outside the primary codebase.
- Ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Ottawa or Toronto location required due to proximity to government customers.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is strongly preferred; candidates eligible and willing to obtain clearance may also be considered.
