Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based software solutions across the frontend and backend.
- Analyze internal users’ use cases, requirements, and expectations and translate them into functional designs and implementations.
- Lead major projects and program initiatives, participate in sprint planning, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Provide software development, rollout, maintenance, and subject matter expertise throughout the software lifecycle.
- Review other engineers’ code and provide feedback on quality, security, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers and champion software development lifecycle best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to triage production issues and recover services quickly.
- Collaborate with senior and principal engineers to shape software direction, strategy, and technology selection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 7 years of coding experience building production-quality software in a team setting.
- At least 3 years of experience building full stack cloud applications.
- Strong experience with serverless RESTful APIs and API-driven system-to-system services.
- Experience building reliable, secure, and scalable software across frontend and backend systems using cloud-based paradigms.
- Experience with modern cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Extensive experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps experience is a plus.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, Azure Storage accounts, Azure Kubernetes Service, and containerized application development is a plus.
- Knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Key Vault is a plus.
- Extensive experience with testing frameworks for React, Node.js, and C#/.NET.
- Willingness to complete ongoing training on privacy, compliance, and security topics.
