Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support scalable full-stack enterprise applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
- Build resilient and secure microservices and API-first solutions.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Contribute to cloud migration, application modernisation, and platform transformation initiatives.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure automation, observability, and monitoring capabilities.
- Apply secure coding, DevSecOps, code quality, performance, and operational excellence practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and improve engineering productivity.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on full-stack development expertise.
- Extensive experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for responsive user interfaces.
- Strong experience with AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, plus Git/GitHub, SonarQube, automated testing, observability, and monitoring tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience with Kafka or other event-driven messaging platforms.
- Understanding of secure coding, DevSecOps, enterprise engineering standards, and Agile delivery environments.
- Experience delivering large-scale technology projects and supporting cloud transformation or application modernisation programs is desirable.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- AWS certification such as Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication and effective collaboration across technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and modern engineering productivity practices.
