Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android SDKs and libraries used in production.
- Implement SDK features while improving stability, backward compatibility, performance, and release quality.
- Design and support SDK architecture, packaging, versioning, dependency handling, and release processes.
- Maintain Maven and Gradle distribution pipelines.
- Create and maintain automated and device-based testing solutions.
- Investigate and resolve SDK defects, integration issues, compatibility problems, and publisher-reported issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support external publishers with SDK integration and troubleshooting.
- Participate in release planning, validation, and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial Android development experience.
- Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Java.
- Proven experience developing native Android SDKs or libraries.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK architecture and lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle plugins for SDK packaging and distribution.
- Experience with versioning, release management, and dependency handling.
- Practical experience with automated and device-based testing.
- Strong focus on software quality, production reliability, and release-critical environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and compatibility issues.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a distributed team, and Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
- Preferred: experience with AI-assisted testing, mobile advertising and AdTech ecosystems, SSP platforms, ad servers, banner and video advertising, tracking beacons, pixel-based analytics, open-source SDKs, and third-party publisher integrations.
