Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain native Android SDKs and implement new SDK features.
- Design and support SDK architecture, packaging, versioning, dependency handling, and release processes.
- Maintain Maven and Gradle distribution pipelines, including Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle plugins.
- Create and maintain automated and device-based testing solutions and support release validation.
- Investigate and resolve SDK defects, integration issues, compatibility problems, and publisher-reported issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support external publishers during SDK integration and troubleshooting.
- Improve SDK reliability, performance, backward compatibility, and production quality.
- Participate in release planning and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of commercial Android development experience.
- Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Java and proven experience developing native Android SDKs or libraries.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK architecture and lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with SDK packaging and distribution tools such as Maven Central, JitPack, and Gradle plugins.
- Experience with versioning, release management, dependency handling, automated testing, and device-based testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration and compatibility issues in release-critical environments.
- Strong focus on software quality and production reliability, plus effective communication in a distributed team.
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
- Preferred: experience with AI-assisted testing, test coverage optimization, mobile advertising and AdTech ecosystems, SSP platforms, ad servers, banner and video advertising, tracking beacons, pixel-based analytics, open-source SDKs, and third-party publisher integrations.
