Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technical design specifications aligned with product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, and planning across engineering initiatives and feature delivery.
- Design, implement, enhance, and assess systems for reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Mentor development staff, lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and support successful product feature delivery.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, communicate with executive leadership and engineering teams, and foster a learning culture.
- Apply AI, automation, and modern engineering toolchains to improve software development and operational productivity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- At least 15 years of full-time education; a bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is accepted.
- Significant experience with software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, system engineering, and implementation of new or existing systems.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives and strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Preferred experience with application monitoring, performance assessments, security architecture, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth, AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.
