Responsibilities
- Develop and manage rich-client enterprise web applications using .NET Core and Angular.
- Build secure, robust, transactional applications using object-oriented design and service-oriented architectures.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization with Microsoft technologies.
- Participate in design sessions and collaborate with architects, designers, functional analysts, and business analysts.
- Contribute to the design, development, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation of application functions.
- Identify application needs, gaps, and new requirements and recommend improvements to system efficiency and functionality.
- Support hiring activities and work with the Development Manager to meet delivery timelines.
- Maintain knowledge of current technologies and tools and contribute ideas to the team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience with the Microsoft stack.
- At least 2 years of web application development experience using Angular.
- At least 2 years of experience working with SQL databases.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, Domain-Driven Development, .NET 6.0 or later, RESTful services, WebAPI, and SQL Server.
- Strong programming skills in C#, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of application security, including authentication and authorization, infrastructure blueprints, and DevOps.
- Experience working in a science-related company.
- Strong documentation, process improvement, design patterns, and design-pattern implementation skills are strongly preferred.
- Experience refactoring WinForms applications into browser-based application stacks using automated tools and AI is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience deploying applications in Azure is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science and engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Microsoft certification in solutions development is preferred.
