Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable ML pipelines, data pipelines, deployment workflows, and model delivery infrastructure.
- Architect and govern enterprise feature store and vector store infrastructure for traditional ML and RAG applications.
- Build workflow orchestration layers for complex model training and data processing dependencies.
- Develop infrastructure and frameworks for LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent agentic AI workflows.
- Establish environments for model training and parameter-efficient fine-tuning of open-source and proprietary models.
- Optimize high-throughput, low-latency model inference using caching and distributed computing techniques.
- Manage model lifecycle, version control, lineage, and experiment-to-production tracking through an enterprise model registry.
- Architect cost-efficient AWS infrastructure with autoscaling to support variable training and inference workloads.
- Implement real-time monitoring for model performance, data drift, latency, and system health.
- Define ML engineering standards, architecture patterns, framework selections, and operational SLAs.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to senior machine learning and data engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, data science, or a closely related quantitative engineering discipline.
- 12+ years of professional experience in data engineering or ML engineering.
- At least five years of experience building, scaling, and managing MLOps platforms in production.
- Deep hands-on production experience with Databricks and native AWS environments.
- Expert proficiency in Python.
- Strong production experience deploying models built with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
