
Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications aligned with business needs.
- Design and develop large-scale, mission-critical, high-performance, high-availability systems and client-facing RESTful APIs.
- Implement Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices, and event-driven architecture solutions.
- Collaborate with product, operations, security, and other cross-functional stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive coding, testing, deployment, code review, debugging, security, compliance, and performance best practices.
- Participate in architectural decisions and technology strategy.
- Mentor and guide junior developers.
- Contribute directly to successful and timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 10–14 years of software development experience.
- Expert-level experience designing and developing client-facing RESTful APIs.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST development, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Recent, demonstrable use of AI-native development tools as a core part of the software engineering workflow.
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems and messaging technologies including IBM MQ and Kafka.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, containerization, and automated API testing.
- Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, and signed request verification using public/private key cryptography.
- Experience with code quality and static analysis tools such as SonarQube or Veracode.
- Experience with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Prior lead engineering experience in finance, particularly payments, is preferred.
- Strong technical and communication skills.
