Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain network services, proxies, meshes, libraries, and other traffic infrastructure components.
  • Build and improve secure, scalable connectivity, routing, load balancing, ingress, and egress functionality across cloud environments.
  • Own software through the full product lifecycle, including design, implementation, and production operation.
  • Develop traffic and edge components for large-scale distributed systems handling significant volumes of traffic.
  • Design RESTful APIs and gRPC services for internal and external integrations.
  • Improve system performance, resource management, scalability, and reliability while collaborating with teams and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more advanced programming languages such as Go, Java, Rust, C, or C++.
  • Experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
  • Preferred expertise in traffic or edge engineering, cloud networking, Envoy, Istio, DPDK, Kubernetes, packet processing, and public cloud platforms.
  • Preferred experience with traffic management patterns including service mesh, service discovery, load balancing, observability, security, and network infrastructure.
  • Strong API design, communication, collaboration, performance tuning, resource management, and scalability skills.
