Base Salary
$165k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and enforce cloud architecture and operational standards.
- Develop reusable infrastructure modules and deployment patterns while optimizing AWS infrastructure costs and partnering with vendors.
- Design and govern CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Jenkins, and/or GitHub Actions.
- Build load-testing environments and performance benchmarks and validate autoscaling across AWS workloads.
- Implement IAM, AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, least-privilege access, AWS WAF, Shield, and API Gateway controls and governance.
- Implement observability with CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail and lead production incident root-cause analyses.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical design reviews, and serve as a subject matter expert for cloud operations and platform reliability.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, leadership, and other departments to standardize software and infrastructure delivery.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, and API Gateway.
- Experience turning AWS expertise into trusted infrastructure-as-code modules and reusable deployment patterns.
- Experience designing multi-region disaster recovery, scalable cloud architectures, CI/CD pipelines, security controls, observability, and production operations.
- Experience with AWS security services, IAM policies, KMS, Secrets Manager, WAF, Shield, API governance, and least-privilege access models.
- Experience leading root-cause analysis, technical design reviews, and cloud cost optimization at scale.
- Relevant cloud certifications and the ability to mentor engineers and communicate with technical and business leadership.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
