Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Enhance and maintain GitLab automation scripts and deployment processes, including AI-integrated failure analysis, security, and compliance solutions.
- Design, develop, and support scalable and redundant physical and virtualized infrastructure.
- Configure Kubernetes continuous deployments using Helm, YAML, and ArgoCD.
- Collaborate with systems engineers and architects on new features, requirements, documentation, and technical diagrams.
- Participate in release planning, scrum-of-scrums meetings, bug triage, design sessions, and other cross-functional activities.
- Develop PaaS solutions for hybrid deployments and secure multi-tenant GPU sharing in Kubernetes environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with 8+ years in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.
- A master’s degree may qualify with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and Kubernetes environments.
- At least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II-or-higher certification, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CISSP/CISSP Associate.
- GitLab pipeline development experience and the ability to obtain Privileged User Account certification under DoD 8570 policy.
- Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, including ingress or Gateway API, multi-tenant GPU sharing, Helm chart design, pod disruption budgets, affinity and anti-affinity rules, external-secrets, ArgoCD, cert-manager, and ECK.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Preferred experience includes systems at scale, Agile processes, Bash, PowerShell, Salt, Python, Groovy, Java, production or enterprise systems, Kafka or other messaging systems, Kubernetes monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, deployment automation, and Nexus.

- The listed pay range is $107,900.00–$195,050.00.
