Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliability.
- Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
- Configure Kubernetes deployments with Helm for new features and changing requirements.
- Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities.
- Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
- Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related team activities.
- Support systems administration, installation, configuration, and DevOps adoption across cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience, or 4+ years with a master’s degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain or maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Strong Linux proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environments.
- Preferred experience includes operating systems at scale, Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, Java, enterprise or production systems, Kafka or other messaging systems, Prometheus, Grafana, GPU-based Kubernetes, Helm, Helmfile, and Nexus.
