Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, triage, debug, tune, and maintain production Elasticsearch and Redis databases.
- Design and support database configuration management strategies across air-gapped network fabrics.
- Partner with systems engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities.
- Contribute to operational monitoring and proactive system notification capabilities.
- Provide technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
- Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related team activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
- Current DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II or higher certification, such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CCNA Security, or CISSP or Associate.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Privileged User Account certification.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms such as EKS, Rancher, or RKE2.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and tuning Elasticsearch databases, plus experience with Keycloak, Redis, or Strimzi.
- Experience with open-source technologies, modern infrastructure platforms, containerized application deployment and troubleshooting, and database hardening to NIST 800-53 controls.
- Strong Linux system administration knowledge and effective written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include microservices architecture, UNIX shell or Perl scripting, Helm Chart templating, ArgoCD, REST APIs, networking, internet protocols, data processing, big data applications, DIA/NDOC/D3P support, and OSINT familiarity.
