Responsibilities
- Develop lightweight computer vision algorithms for embedded camera systems using traditional image processing and learning-based approaches.
- Drive algorithms from prototyping through implementation, deployment, and optimization for power, processing efficiency, and performance.
- Use camera simulations, on-device testing, and field testing to validate algorithm performance.
- Integrate algorithms with camera system architecture in collaboration with SOC architecture, firmware, camera hardware/software, silicon design, and QA teams.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of image signal processing for digital cameras.
- Strong embedded coding skills and understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Self-driven approach to identifying problems, prototyping solutions, and validating results.
- Preferred: PhD degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: strong background in computer vision and embedded systems, with experience developing camera imaging algorithms using traditional image processing and machine learning.
