Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical concepts to software development.
- Develop and test embedded real-time software for advanced tactical radio equipment across the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
- Develop software test procedures, programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering organization members.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Preferred experience or skills include one or more of C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, or embedded systems.
