Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own recommendation, ranking, retrieval, and candidate-role matching systems.
- Develop LLM-powered features that improve alignment between candidates and roles.
- Take product features from problem definition through implementation and production release.
- Architect and maintain production data pipelines and services supporting models.
- Collaborate with company leadership and ship product improvements rapidly.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience building and shipping end-to-end software features in production environments.
- Production experience with recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or ML-powered matching.
- Applied machine learning experience, including shipping models or ML-powered products to users.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python and experience with production LLM APIs and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, or equivalent.
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines and services, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and evidence of notable technical work, such as open-source contributions or personal projects.
- Helpful experience includes React, embeddings, vector search, Supabase, Prisma, Typesense, or workflow automation tools.
Benefits
- Base salary of $130,000 to $170,000 annually, plus founding-hire equity.
- Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
- On-site in San Francisco, California, working in person six days per week.
