Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build data models and workflows supporting a property management operating system.
- Develop AI systems that use property context to complete tasks, identify missing information, and escalate work to people.
- Make practical engineering decisions for payments, financial records, and resident and owner communications.
- Ship software to users, learn from system gaps and feedback, and improve the product.
- Take projects from problem definition through launch and iteration.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production software end to end in backend or full-stack engineering.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, and PostgreSQL, or the ability to learn these tools quickly.
- Experience taking projects from problem definition through launch and iteration, ideally in an early-stage startup or founding engineering role.
- Real estate or property management experience is relevant but not required.
- Experience range of 0 to 10+ years.
- Comfort with ownership, adaptability, and ambiguity.
Benefits
- Salary range of $150,000 to $300,000 annually.
- On-site in San Francisco; candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate.
