Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own event-driven, fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable distributed systems.
- Improve the reliability of Upvest’s Investment API.
- Operate services in a decoupled, event-driven system using modern observability tooling such as monitoring and tracing.
- Deliver software frequently within a product team with broad ownership.
- Participate in two-week development cycles with retrospectives and demos.
Requirements
- Experience with event-driven architectures, event streaming, and event sourcing systems.
- Experience operating services in decoupled, event-driven systems.
- Willingness to work with Go, the primary programming language, or transition from another language.
- Interest in fintech and building financial infrastructure.
- Experience with investment products or the fintech domain is advantageous.
- Ability to work with customers in mind and collaborate effectively in diverse teams.
