Responsibilities
- Develop and refine robot behaviors for external events, demonstrations, and deployments.
- Write and maintain software for robot demonstrations, including behavior sequencing and control logic.
- Test behaviors on hardware, iterate quickly, and debug issues in the lab and on site.
- Support event execution through setup, rehearsals, and live troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver reliable demonstrations.
Requirements
- Be a graduate student pursuing a master’s or PhD in computer science, robotics, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Have strong software engineering skills and proficiency in Python.
- Have experience applying AI or machine learning, ideally in robotics.
- Have working knowledge of robotics fundamentals such as control, kinematics, or motion planning.
- Be able to work hands-on with hardware and iterate quickly under tight timelines.
- A minimum internship commitment of 10 weeks is required, with one to two terms preferred.
Benefits

- US base salary of $40-$45 per hour.
