Responsibilities
- Develop and execute software test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration, migration, regression, and performance testing.
- Validate Power BI reports and dashboards, including data transformations, data models, data accuracy, filters, drill-through functionality, KPIs, and calculated measures.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to validate data pipelines and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and report software defects and collaborate with teams on resolution.
- Drive testing prioritization across teams and coordinate test cycles with project managers.
- Develop QC coverage for mobile, browser-based, and BI projects.
- Review design specifications and acceptance criteria with business and development teams.
- Collect, track, and report test metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Create and execute UAT documentation with business stakeholders.
- Participate in end-user training workshops and provide post-implementation functional support.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore QC, development, system engineering, and customer teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience in Quality Control and Testing.
- Hands-on experience testing Business Intelligence solutions, Power BI reports, and dashboards.
- Strong experience validating data models, reports, and data pipelines for BI data integrity and consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of software testing, verification and validation, test automation, and defect management.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, business and technical knowledge, presentation ability, and professional collaboration skills.
