- Execute manual and exploratory tests for assigned application features and areas.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests using Python and existing automation frameworks.
- Perform release validation, regression testing, smoke testing, and automated test execution.
- Report defects clearly and collaborate with software engineers on investigation and resolution.
- Maintain test documentation and contribute to improving test coverage.
Requirements
- Experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering for consumer or client-side software.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing, including test case design, execution, exploratory testing, and defect reporting.
- Experience with test automation and scripting using Python or similar programming languages.
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals and quality engineering practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD-based development and validation workflows.
- Ability to analyze, debug, and reason about issues, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for software testing, test automation, or engineering productivity.
- Experience building or extending automated test suites in Python is preferred.
- Experience testing Windows-based desktop or platform-level applications is preferred.
