Base Salary
$176k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform manual system and application testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance against requirements.
- Define testing needs and develop compliant test plans and cases with DevOps and development teams.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Document test results, identify defects, and submit detailed findings through defect-tracking processes.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and configuration validation in support of testing.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, procedures, and supporting technical materials.
- Train users on application functionality and system usage and monitoring.
- Collaborate with developers to validate defect fixes and acceptance criteria.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; an additional four years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- 10 years of systems engineering experience.
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Linux environments, including RHEL 8/9 and Rocky Linux 8/9.
- Experience with manual software testing, including functional and regression testing.
- Experience documenting test cases, test results, and software defects.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for test documentation and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with Grafana for reviewing system information in support of testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
