Responsibilities
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, scripts, update sets, and lifecycle activities.
- Develop and support ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework, Selenium, and related tools.
- Design, execute, and document manual and automated testing across ServiceNow modules, workflows, and integrations.
- Lead functional, regression, integration, upgrade, and API testing for ITSM, Service Catalog, CSDM, and ITOM.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and reliable deployment processes.
- Mentor junior engineers in QA automation, ServiceNow configuration, and development best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, product owners, developers, and global teams across multiple time zones.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and champion quality standards across engineering and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software testing and development experience, including at least 4 years working on the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands-on proficiency with ServiceNow development and scripting, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Catalog Scripts, and Integration Hub.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, CSDM, Discovery, and Event Management modules.
- Expertise with at least one of ATF, Selenium, Postman, or SOAP UI.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow upgrades, patch testing, defect management, update set migration, and development lifecycle processes.
- Experience with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and test management or defect tracking tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications include ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS for ITSM, Discovery, or Event Management, and ITIL v3 or v4.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, and cross-time-zone communication skills.
